In the beginning, mankind sinned against God by giving heed to the Serpent, and abandoning God’s way to follow their own way. The result was the curse that transferred us from the kingdom of light, into the kingdom of darkness and the dominion of Satan.
Christ came to redeemed us from the power of the devil, and took His people from the reign of darkness into the Kingdom of light, again. Christ restored the communion that His people had with God in the beginning. In addition, He destroyed the power of Satan over God’s people, and the devil has but a very short time until the end of this age.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Hebrews 2: 14-15
The kingdom, and the power, and the glory belongs to Christ, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, forever, amen!
